Raw materials are often in solid form when elastomer systems are processed. This means that they have to be liquefied in the metering machine before they are processed further. For materials stored in drums, Hennecke customers make use of melting chambers. Different types of granulates are introduced online via melting devices. All melters are tailor-made to suit process parameters and production requirements.
